God's Gifts

When ever we receive a blessing whether it's a new car, a new job, a raise, or even a child it's a gift from God. That gift is given to us to enjoy for the as long as God allows us to. The hard thing to deal with is when seemingly out of nowhere, God takes away your blessing. You lost that new job, you had an accident with that brand new car of yours, or even when He takes away your child. How do we as humans deal with the strong emotions that come along with loss? Many times we are so grief stricken that we blame God or even seek out answers to why something so horrible has happened to us. Often we ask Why? Why me?; why take this from me? I don't really consolable answers to those question but I do have the answer that I believe most Christians would give: Why not you? God never makes mistakes. I know neither of those answers help ease the physical ache in your heart that you can feel when you incur a loss but isn't that what faith is all about. Being able to praise God even when.... even when bad things are happening, even when things aren't going your way, even when...
I'd like to ask everyone who reads this entry to please pray for my friend Joan Frank who has just lost her 9 yr daughter, Jeanna. I have no idea what that kind of loss feels like but I know that I would want someone to pray my strength in a time such as hers. Please pray with me.

The Key to what you said is this Enjoy The Gifts As long as God Allows Us To''. Everything belongs to God anyway.God really never takes back the Blessings though Nikki, things will always happen. We will never understand the Why's but Yes always remember God never makes mistakes!!!!It may be hard to understand at the time but even in the ''things'' we call bad or seem
totally devastated by ,God has His resons for allowing it to happen.I thank God that Joan is saved, that was my concern. I know it still doesn't feel good to her about her child, but she made a choice to give God her life, her hurts, fears concerns and every disappointment to the LORD .Having a friend like God durning a time like this is the best thing you could ever imagine.I belive God has spoken to Joan and will lead guide and direct her each and every day.No I've never lost a child, so I can only imagine how she or anybody else would feel. I am and will continue to keep her and her entire family in Prayer.''To Joan'' I pray when you even feel the slightest be over whelmed, Cast All Your Cares on the Lord because he cares for you and understands exactly how you feel even when you can't express or don't even know how your feeling yourself. When you feel weak GOD is your STRENGTH!!!!God Bless you

What a profound statement "That gift is given to us to enjoy for the as long as God allows us to". Many time we forget that He is the one that allows the "gifts" to come our way and we are to enjoy them for as long as HE allos us too. All of our seasons are in His hands - the brings in and the taking out. They both carry a price tag. His gifts we can't get to caught up in and lose focus of Him. In everything we have to give thanks. Just like you have stated - God never makes mistakes. I am ever learning "NOTHING JUST HAPPENS". "It" all has purpose.

I will continue to prayer for your friend Joan and her family.

Nikki you are very beautiful on the inside and outside. Even you soliciting prayer for your friend when you could have requested something else. WOW!! You are truly God's Gift. God will reward you for your selflessness.

Nikki I will keep your friend in prayer as well. Yes you are right they all are gifts from Him! Nikki the Holy Spirit had me to give to two mothers one who son was shot due to drugs and the other was the death of her six year old daughter that wasn't expected to make it when she was born so much so her medical bills cost was so high she had to become the ward of the state because of going over the 1 million limit of coverage. But God gave her to her for a short period of time for a purpose. In the book this verse was listed. All things work together for good to them that love God' (Rom. 8:28). At the time one mother said Deshirl that verse was hard to accept. I told her it was because she don't know the future but our God does. I told her in her life God will use her for others (she just graduated with a degree in social work). I also was asked by the Holy Spirit to give it to my Pastor upon his father's death recently. His first sermon was about the book I gave him and how it was a blessing to him! Here is the site I ordered it from it you want to get one for your friend!

It's only like 95 cents so it can go into a card for encouragement which is what I did.

God bless!

Nikki I will keep your friend in my prayers. The thing that we must know is, that God has a plan that may or may not have nothing to do with us. There are so many things that I thought was the worse that could happen to me, that turned out, that is was all apart of a greater plan. I can not imagine how I would react if one of my children would be taken from me. The correct Christian answer is God has a place for that child and it's next to him. I am reminded that our children are only leased to us. Parents feed, clothe, and influence them (hopefully correctly) Then like our parents did for us, let them loose and eventually they return to the creator. Hopefully, we don't get to see the returning of a child, but again we don't have a clue or God's plan. I really don't want to talk much on this topic because I feel it's not very comforting. This would be a hard topic to preach. Just have faith that God loves us so much that he sent his son to save us. See The Passion understand Jesus went through a lot for us. Imagine what God felt. These great tragedies make us more like God than we know.
