Experience is the name everyone gives to their Mistakes

That's a quote that I read today by Oscar Wilde. I read it and automatically thought, yes, that is so true! When you really think about it we go through these "seemingly" random experiences in life and we only remember the times when something adverse or negative happened. For some strange reason the mistakes that we make in life are viewed as experience. Why is it that as people we don't learn from the experiences of others as to avoid the mistake ourselves? Just my own thought for the day.
