A Learning Curve

I recently heard someone say that "Relationships are God's assignments for us, a curriculum for spiritual growth."

The way the person stated it kind of made me stop and really think about those words. We've all heard the saying that "everything happens for a reason" but somehow knowing that every single person that God places in our paths to meet for a second or for years is all so important. These lessons are to help us all reach the higher ground that God wants us to be on. I know all of us at some point have wondered "what is all of this for, what is life really about?" Well I think the level of enlightenment, the level of thinking the way God wants us to, taking the limits off of our lives; is the reason for it all.

Being a Star

I can't remember where I heard this but it really resonated with me once I really thought about it. Hilliary Clinton has been in the spot light now for years and handling it well but in the beginning and through the trails of her marriage just about everyone has had something to say about what she should do and how she she conduct herself. Of course its always hard when outsiders have comments on how your life should be, and Mrs. Clinton found herself very upset and asking her mother for advice on how to handle all the criticism.

Mrs. Rodham gave her daughter some great advice (like all good mothers do!). She told her daughter these simple words: "Do you want to be an actor in your own life or a re-actor in others". You can only make changes in your own life and attitude.

Make sure you are being the star in your own movie and let God be your director. You'll definitely have a hit on your hand.
